Mother of Mercy High School will be closing it's doors after more than 100 years.  This mom and Mercy grad is especially sad about this because she was looking forward to her daughter graduating from Mercy one day.  Although this isn't in the cards anymore, she thought it would be a fun idea to have their family photos taken on the school's beautiful property.  And what a great idea it was! The Mother of Mercy grounds are just gorgeous, and we couldn't have had a more perfect evening for it.  By the time we took the last shot, mom was wiping away tears.  To me, that's a good sign that we had the perfect spot :)

I love this family :) And I'm so happy for them too.  They are all moved in to their new house and they just love it.  And what's not to love?!  It's absolutely gorgeous and it looks like they could live in the mountains with the beautiful fall colors in their back yard!

My husband's side of the family is pretty big.  He is one of 6, and there are 19 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  These are 7 of my wonderful nieces and nephews, and they are great kids.  For Christmas they wanted to surprise their parents with photos of themselves.  Apparently I get bonus points for these because they made their mom cry :)

And on a side note, anyone that knows this family knows that they are slightly "punctually-challenged"  :)  For the record, they all arrived ON TIME!!

A few years ago, we did a photos of my husband and his siblings for his parents.  Everyone's favorite shot was a pic of them pretending to fight.  The kids wanted to reenact this one for their parents :)

I'm not sure if you are a country music fan, but have you ever heard the song by Rodney Atkins, "Cleaning This Gun" ?  It's about a dad telling his daughter's date to basically watch himself because he'll be waiting up when they get home, "still cleaning this gun".  If this dad hasn't heard it yet, he should listen to it.  It could come in handy someday with these four beauties :)

As far as Miss A was concerned, this caterpillar was more interesting than anything else we were doing :)
